It is a stretchable material. Its stretchiness allows it to mould to your body and provide the necessary flexibility for activity. It's worth noting that ALL of these suspenders have Mens elastic suspenders in the back, usually beneath the back cross patch. You'll need the elastic once more for fit and flexibility.
