Our Memorial Hall offers versatile facilities available for private hire. We have our spacious Ground Floor areas, as well as our brand-new First Floor facilities providing flexible space options to accommodate diverse needs, making it easy to tailor your event to your requirements.

Main Hall

The Main Hall, located on the Ground Floor, is a superb location for those special occasions.

 

Space details:

The bar has its own foyer area and the well-equipped kitchen allows for self-catering or caterer's assisting with meals. The hall and table decor can be personalised to your own choice. 

Capacity:

The main hall is 21m x 8.6m. There is a large stage 8.4 m * 6m, which is included in hire charge. Fitted electric projector screen on the side. which typically accommodates the following configurations:

  • Exercise class - 45 people

  • Adult party - 100 to 300 people

  • Dinner - 150 people, dinner/dance (tables in place) - 130 people 

  • Theatre/cinema -  230 people

*All numbers vary with the amount of tables and chairs.

  • Tables: 25 - 6'x2', 45 bistro style.  Chairs: 50 blue plastic, 246 upholstered

Available for additional Hire:

  • 1000w mobile loudspeaker £12, Projector £10

  • Major items - priced at the time: a) State of the art Sound & Light system with engineer, b) Full Cinema

SMALL HALL 

This is a more intimate space, again located on the Ground Floor, ideal for smaller family functions or indeed, ideal for clubs and society meetings, AGMs etc.

Space details:

This hall is also often used as a buffet area for kids parties that are being held in the main hall. Our licensed bar is opposite.

The small hall measures 11m x 5.75m

STAGE

The stage is perfect for presenting seminars, guest speakers, small theatre productions, children's plays to rock bands.

Space details:

We have full lighting and sound system which can be hired with sound engineer or you can just use your own with some simple disco effect LED ball spots. 

Capacity:

The stage is 8.4m * 6m. There is a full cinema screen & ceiling mounted projector, for additional hire. 

KITCHEN

Fantastic kitchen facility for children's parties, birthdays, weddings etc.

Details:

  • Large American style fridge freezer. large commercial oven, extractor fan, 

  • Large work tops, constant hot water and a wall mounted water boiler. 

  • Large Servery 

BAR

To have the bar open a charge of £12ph to cover the cost of the staff will not be charged if your guests spend over £100ph.   Bookings afternoon onwards only.

FIRST FLOOR FACILITIES

Introducing our brand new First Floor facilities. On the First Floor, you'll find a range of modern facilities available for hire including three mini offices, Technology Centre with nine desks and PC monitors, a meeting room and dance studio.

DANCE STUDIO

A versatile area suitable for dance classes, fitness sessions,  and smaller gatherings, baby showers, wakes etc.

 

Space details:

The Dance studio is well-equipped having dance floor, wall mirrors, sound system and 65inch touch screen with HDMI input. storage for shoes.

FIRST FLOOR MEETING ROOM

A dedicated space for smaller family functions or indeed, ideal for clubs and society meetings, or business workshops or classes such as Yoga and Pilates. 

Space details:

  • Meeting room with Dance floor, 75 inch Touch (teaching) screen HDMI inputs, full internet serviced

  • Access to Kitchenette

  • Tables: mixture of tables 6ft x 2ft and 2ft round bistro, upholstered chairs

Capacity:

  • The meeting room measures 9 m x 6m.

  • Gatherings 50people

  • Pilates / Yoga 12 people
